NON-LEAGUE SCENE

Chapter 15 of 'The League Story' concluded the record of the club's 15 years as a member of the Football League.

With their return to the non-League scene (season 2012-13), author Geoffrey Knights has started a new e-book to record the club's progress. In line with 'The League Story' a new chapter will be added at the end of each season as a free download.

Chapter 1 (season 2012-2013) records the Silkmen's first season back in the Conference.

Chapter 2 (season 2013-2014) records the Silkmen's second season back in the Conference.

Chapter 3 (season 2014-2015) records how the club only retained membership of the Vanarama Conference at the eleventh hour and the completion of a successful season when the team just missed out on the play-off position.

Chapter 4 (season 2015-2016) aiming for a play-off position, the season proved a little disappointing when almost as many matches were lost as won in the Vanarama National League resulting in the team finishing in 10th position.

Chapter 5 (season 2016-2017) records the Silkmen's achievements in reaching the second round of the Emirates FA Cup and the final of the Buildbase FA Trophy

Chapter 6 (season 2017-2018) the Silkmen's exciting season becoming Champions of the Vanarama National League and gaining promotion back to the English National League.
